Aroma is sweet dark malts and yeast. Flavor is full and rich, sweet malts and dark fruit, bown sugar. Alcohol well hidden. Smooth, pleasant, and satisfying. Not quite as awesome as Celebrator, but an excellent dopplebock, about on a par with Optimator. beerguy101 (3872), Newark, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 25, 2005 Medium amber color. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel and sweet touch of brown sugar. A medium bodied dopplebock. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of brown sugar and molasses. Lot of dark fruit flavors as well. Somewhat sweet. Smooth tasting. Perhaps a little thin. Its not a big dopplebock like Celebrator, but its very drinkable and might be a good alternative for those who find Celebrator too big. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and fruity. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and fruity. noelcb (271), Toledo, Ohio, USA

Aromas of rust, earth and rich malt. Flavor includes peat, malt, grain, and perfectly-balanced hops. Mouth feel is chewy, full and foamy. Overall this dopplebock is very balanced and very drinkable. A great example. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 15, 2005 Solid doppelbock. Poured slightly thick, deep, impenetrable red-brown. 1/4" off-white, foamy head. Smells acidic and syrupy, and of pepper and molasses with rich malty nodes. Tastes better than smell. Holy malts. Chocolatey, roasted oak. Slightly smoky, like a persistent roast. Smooth, sweet and true to style. Well done, Tucher, but what the hell does "Bajuvator" mean?
