Pours dark beer bottle brown with a 2 finger creamy yellowish head that has good retention. Aroma is toffee caramel, candied fruit, and some toast. Flavor is raisin, caramel, burnt sugar, overripe apples, toffee with nuts, cinamon, and some nice toasty notes. Finish is sweet and tangy, dark fruit and bitter apple peel. Pours with a light, off-white head that fades, and leaves weakish lacing over the muddy amber brown body. Aroma of raisins, currants, toffee, soy, unami. Taste is toffee, caramel, bread, with some nuts, rotting fruit and licorice. Finishes pretty sweet. Syrupy mouthfeel with light carbonation and decently well hidden alcohol.
