Reddish brown hue with fizzy fading head and some lace. The aroma hints of caramel and toffee malts, buttered toast, floral hops, prune, smoke and earthy yeast esters. The taste is very malty and sweet upfront with an undertone of subdued fruits, toast, and smoke. The finish does have just a touch of bitterness and an earthy nature. The mouthfeel is above average, lively, and smooth.

Deep brown with a reddish hue and an initially large, rocky off-white head. Aromatic nose of molasses, brown sugar and dark fruit. Sweet malt flavor dominates up front with a minimal hop profile. Smooth finish that was just a tad acidic.

Dark brown with a creamy head. Brown sugar, burnt toast, just not good.

no head, dark in colour nose is liquoricie heavy with lots of suggar and brown suggar . The taste is molasses and sicknes. Just as bad as Sam Adams tripple bock. I just dont dig it at all.

A beautiful dark brown color, pours with a thick, fine bubbled head that has some staying power. A slightly sweet malty aroma, not very much alcohol smell here. The flavor isn't as sweet as the smell, which supprised me. A good malty character with a hop balance. An almost slight chocolate/coffee flavor, kind of hard for me to put a finger on. I love it.

extremely bready malts with a hair of alcohol in the nose. flavor has lots of caramel, brown sugar, and toffee. teh finish is pure brown sugar. there is an underlying roastiness in the finish as well. very surprised by this bad boy.

.5 L bottle: clear chesnut brown, maroon hues. Nice malty nose with accents of buttered toast, roasted sugared bananas, grain and a slight alcohol burn. Chewy/syrupy palate offers a full maltiness, along with fresh red apples, burnt caramel, some interesting floral notes, brown sugar, and bitter honey. A hoppy banana flesh finish, quite tasty.
