Creamy first mouthful with fine sparkling smooth carbonation. Flavor is very chocolaty, a bit doughy, light grass, its a nice sweet flavor that is almost off-dry, I like that. This is a very clean easy drinking doppelbock, straight forward, but well done! MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

This doppelbock poured a mostly clear dark mahogany with a one-finger thick head of tan foam that lasted throughout most of the glass. Almost no lace. The aroma of the beer was made up of toasted caramel, molasses, and some dark fruit skins. The flavor included burnt sugar, molasses, faint dark fruits, mild alcohol, and a bit of bread dough. A bit dull, and nothing really stands out. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and had moderate carbonation. Average. faroeviking (6023), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands
