A very dark mahogany with a small frothy beige creamy head. Aroma of a tootsie-roll. Creamy first mouthful with fine sparkling smooth carbonation. Flavor is very chocolaty, a bit doughy, light grass, its a nice sweet flavor that is almost off-dry, I like that. This is a very clean easy drinking doppelbock, straight forward, but well done!

500 ml bottle: Poured into a weizen glass. Poured cola brown with some ruby notes. Fairly small brown head. Rich malty aroma with meaty notes and soy. Mild sweet taste with some roasted malts, dark fruits with a mild bitter finish. Somewhat watery finish. Good.

Poured from a 500ml bottle and served in a dimpled mug. This doppelbock poured a mostly clear dark mahogany with a one-finger thick head of tan foam that lasted throughout most of the glass. Almost no lace. The aroma of the beer was made up of toasted caramel, molasses, and some dark fruit skins. The flavor included burnt sugar, molasses, faint dark fruits, mild alcohol, and a bit of bread dough. A bit dull, and nothing really stands out. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and had moderate carbonation. Average.

Dark brown colour, very thick head. Marvellous taste, with strong coffe, caramel and chocolate notes melting in a very smooth way. Absolutely no traces of alcohol. Great
