(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, warm chestnut brown with a small, rough, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and burned caramel. Solid body with loads of roasted malts, dried fruit and some burned caramel. Very subdued bitterness. 140308

Bottled. Mahogany colour, clear, brief head. Sweet and bready with rounded sticky mouthfeel. Flavours of syrupy dough, red apples, molasses and cardamom. Drier finish with a touch of metal. Being strangelyunrefined for a German beer it fails to lift. I guess Oetker takeovers are bad news for the quality...

50 cL bottle. Pours cola brown with a fully diminished head. Spiced to light herbal malt aroma. Flavour holds a light metallic note to a solid malt base and a dry raisin to dried fruity flavour. Light fruity and mild nutty. Ends with a mild sweetness and a lingering malt base and light fruit note on top.

Bottled (Thanks DerDoppelbock). Reddish amber colour, medium head, which vanishes quite fast. Aroma is big time caramel malts and some slight alcoholic kick. Flavour is malt, some slight alcohol in background. Slightly sticky palate, but very refreshing.

Bottle, 7.2%. Malty, creamy and peppery aroma. Clear dark brown colour, small light brown head. Quite powerful flavour, sweet, roasted, creamy and very malty. Creamy mouthfeel. Long, roasted aftertaste, a bit vinous. Quite nice, but too sweet.
