Heartful, strong Weizenbierschmankerl with typical yeast turbidity. Its unmistakable colour receives it by the addition from aromatic dark dunkelmalz.

Bottle. Light brown in color with a medium head. Aroma was spicy and fruity with an emphasis on banana. Taste as very similar with hints of clove and lots of banana bread.

330 ml bottle bought at Cheers in Yuen Long.

Cloudy, hazy strawy brown colour with bits of dirt-like yeast sediments; One finger head with crumpety light beige foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Very good Sticky lacing and barely notable small carbonation; Fragment aroma of moderate roasted malt, with fresh banana, strong caramel, orange peels, vanilla, wheat, molasses, cloves and faint grass; Very light sweet taste of smooth light-roasted malt, with strong wheat, fair tartness, caramel, faint hint of red fruits, very light cloves, dry biscuits, strong yeast, thin lemon and thin grass; Mid to light body. Thick, crisp and very creamy palate; Mouth feel is smooth and very creamy light-roasted malt in a pretty thick body with strong wheat presence, very dry and crisp. Tartness is really light for a weiss, as is the light fruity hint and real low sweetness. Caramel and yeasty biscuits are strong. Low hops to round. Pretty solid!... Hoppiness is thin lwmon and thin grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is barely detectable, and finishing are lemony tart flashes and low astringent spikes; Very dry after taste. Crisp and very creamy to mouth.

Comments: Thought this one will be just as average as the Helles Hefe Weizen, but the fresh banana aroma made a nice first impression and followed by real rich smooth body and crisp taste all the way, though its esters and phenols are low as usual. Its overall rich crispyness are more than enough to impress me. An above average one, and a good choice to stock for winter!

Schöner Schaumteppich, ansprechendes dunkelbernstein. Geruch Hefig, etwas Banane. Geschmacklich eher konventionell, Weizenmalz klar dominierend, kaum Röstaromen. Schöne Rezenz, angenehmes Wasser, aber zu durchschnittlich.

On tap at ITAP Chesterfield. It poured a yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of sweet light malts with a hint of wheat and banana as it warms. The taste was similar to the aroma with a light spice tingle and sweet light malts with some wheat and a touch of banana.

Good but unexceptional dunkelweizen with a pleasant banana aroma and a refreshing character. Somewhat low on taste and a bit watery on the finish.

Wyraźny, piwny aromat, słodowy. Piana wysoka, gęsta. Piwo przejrzyste, mętnieje dopiero po wlaniu resztki, czewronawy odcień. W smaku wodniste, słodowe. Nic rewelacyjnego.

Bottle sample. Hazy brownish with small beige head. Light sweetish aroma of date honey, carob, notes of caramel and some fruitiness. Sweet flavor of date honey, wheat, a bit spicy and salty with notes of roasted malt. Moderate carbonation, medium-bodied.

Just average. Cloudy, yeast at bottom. I would not buy again, but would drink again if there was nothing better available. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16.9 oz. bottle properly dispensed to a weizen glass at Lunar Brewing Co., rousing a yeasty cloudiness to the brownish amber color, with a persistent head of frothy, tan foam, and clingy spots & patches of lacing. The nose was lightly toasted, smooth malt, a touch of caramel sweetness, subtle banana, and a hint of clove. The taste was similar notes, medium bodied with decent effervescence, a bit of spicy tang, low bitterness, a creamy mouthfeel, and a very smooth and sessionable nature.
