Heartful, strong Weizenbierschmankerl with typical yeast turbidity. Its unmistakable colour receives it by the addition from aromatic dark dunkelmalz.

Tap in Nuremerg, Germany. mahogany, good head and lacing. some dark fruit smell with yeast funk. malty and smooth, but with good wheat beer elements. Liked this better than the regular hefe.

Tucher Dunkles Hefe Weizen is an original take on the classic German style. Fruity aroma coming from a dark brown cloudy pour with tight tan head. Taste is sweet and fruity, like red grapefruit without any sourness. Finish is clean with no off flavors. Tucher Dunkles is a quality dark version of a very good Hefewiezen.

Pours a cloudy mahogany color with small head that fades to pretty decent lacing. Aroma of banana, herbal with a bit of yeast present. Taste of banana, fruity, bit of caramel sweetness and malt. Mild bitterness with bit of lingering malt in the finish. Medium body, well carbonated and a bit sweet. Decent beer but just a bit sweet to really enjoy.

From a 500 ml. bottle. Very nice appearance, orange-amber pour with a nice creamy head. Nose of banana, wheat, slight clove, nutty yeast. Well rounded flavor, with a sweet/sour tang and creamy finish. A nice representation of the style, would revisit.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours cloudy brown with a off white head. Taste malt, banana, floral. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle. Unfiltered orange-brown body, frothy off-white head. Sweet caramel banana aroma. Medium bodied. Classic banana yeast flavors, with some pleasant medium dark malt depth too. Rather light and mellow for a Dunkelweizen..this is more of a Copper colored Weisse. Medium bodied, refreshing, tasty. Significantly better than most US examples.

Medium brown color, usual large foaming head. Aroma is lightly minty, wheaty, light phenols. Flavor is dry and lightly phenolic, more zesty wheatiness. Surprisingly clean. Fizzy palate, light finish. Fair.

Serving type: bottle Appearance- Pours a cloudy golden brown with almost no head and very little lacing Aroma- Smell is of spice and banana with a hint of wheat T/P- Taste is a bit bitter at the end, it is moderately carbonated with a slight banana and clove flavor. Overall- This is an okay Hefe, defiantly not he best in the category but also not the worst. I might get it again, but would not rush out to buy it.
