2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, almost muddy beer with huge, yeast impurities. Light brown, decent head. High in CO2 - all very characteristic for a German Weizen. I just miss some body and some flavours. Where’s the fruity esters for instance? This appears very light and a little disappointing. 090702

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. An unclear, copper beer with some yeast chunks, and a dense two-finger off-white head. Banana, toffee and cloves on the nose. Yeast as well. Medium body, quite effervescent. Sweet, caramel flavor with a good dash of cloves. Some bitterness and hints of coffee in the finish. A quite pleasant one, but nothing special. Too much yeast on the nose, and overall a bit unpronounced and going nowhere. Had no problems drinking it though. 100423

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 5.3%. Nice banana aroma. Cloudy brown colour. Big, stable off-white head. Starts off with a little banana and citricity on the tip of the tongue, turning malty and then yeasty. Finishes with a roasted malt bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, even though the carbonation is high. A typical Dunkelweizen, and well done.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy dark brown with a thick, rocky head. Somewhat dusty, slightly footy yeast nose with lemony accents and a hint of chocolate. Crisp, with an apple/pear fruitiness. Lightly spicy, with a quenching wheat finish. Good balance. It may not be the greatest but it’s hitting the spot.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of dark wheat, some yeast, perhaps some grassy hop. Hazy amber color with a white head - the combination could be used for an ad picture. Medium mouthfeel. Slightly tart. Followed by malt. Perhaps a hint of banana fruit. Reasonably dry. Finish is well balanced between malt and bitter. Very good drink.
