Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown color with a nice large head. Typical dunkelweizen aromas, but not very prominent. Taste is malty with slight fruitiness (banana/cloves). Medium bodied and smooth. Very light and drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DeliveryDriver (129) - Illinois, USA - MAY 26, 2013
Pours a very hazy toffee color with a big, tan head that dissipates slowly. Had aromas of toffee, molasses, bananas, and spices. Taste is decently yeasty, followed by a toffee aftertaste. Medium bodied beer with a sticky mouthfeel. I’d drink it again, but not as much as Mr. Mustachio.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Drake (6600) - Ivy, Virginia, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Half liter bottle from Harry’s Alpharetta. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a large rocky tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits, wheat, banana. The taste is caramel, wheat, dark fruits, mild hops. Medium bodied. Decent.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 KeefOz (487) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - APR 5, 2013
Draught at Bratwurst Roslein, Nurnberg, Germany. Poured a translucent bronze colour with a red tint. Had a one-finger light beige coloured foamy head that diminished quickly and laced poorly. No carbonation. Aromas of malt and traces of roasted grain. Taste smooth roasted grain and slightly sour malt. Light body for a dunkel. Short smooth finish.

Nice amber color with small bubbles in the head. Might be the pour though. Nice malty flavor with almost a tobacco like aftertaste. Slightly bitter with a banana flavor. Nice beer

February 19, 2013 - bottle from Randall’s. Brown pour with some head. Aroma was yeasty, banana, clove and malt. Taste was consistent with some chocolate and wheat characteristics. Medium bodied and light carbonation.

The color of the beer is reddish brown with a small white head, and the aroma has slight hints of yeast, clove, vanilla, and bread malts. The taste is mildly sweet, slightly umami, and slightly bitter; the palate is a medium body, thick texture, soft carbonation, and slight astringent finish.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 DrSilverworm (2970) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 11, 2013
16.9oz bottle. Mildly hazy brown color. Good thin off-white / khaki head, half-finger thick. Light toasty nose, hint of banana, soft, more smooth carbonation, though it’s kind of pronounced. Finish has a bit of a bite. Toasty banana flavor, some lemon, taste is not very pleasant. Aftertaste has a bit of an acidy bite. Light sweet, odd bite. Not my favorite dunkelweizen. Just had Weihenstephaner’s example before this, and compared to that, this has a very macro feel to it.
