Bottle 50cl from Alko Vasa. Clear to hazy yellow with good fizz. Aroma is wheat, banana and some lemon as for the taste. Some lemonade as well besides the obvious banana. Palate is creamy. Elegant weissbier.

Keg @ Moldau. Hazy bright golden, dense white head leaving rich lacing around the glass. Banana and clove aroma, citrus, soap and some bubblegum aswell. Watery mouthfeel, medium carbonated. Fruity banana taste, somewhat watery taste, bubblegum, cloves and green herbs.

Sampled from a bottle in a proper Weissbier pint glass at JDW's Mossy Well in Muswell Hill. A pale yellow with a thick white head. Aromas of wheat and ripe banana. Not very strongly flavoured. It has what you would expect in a Hefe Weizen, but all the flavours are quite subtle. Perhaps a good introduction to wheat beers for the uninitiated. Quite drinkable but not particularly memorable.

Aus der Flasche in Nürnberg getrunken. Sieht im Hefeweizenglas gut aus. Das war’s dann aber auch.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Andover Liquors. Aroma is wheat and yeast, mildest of fruity esters. Appearance is hazy pale yellow with greenish tinge, attractive sparkle, finger-width foamy head with decent retention and trace lacing. Taste is wheat, light fruity esters and clove. Palate is light bodied with creamy texture, soft to average carbonation and a finish that just sort of fades away. Overall, an inoffensive introduction to hefeweizens for someone who is used to boring macros, but is quite mediocre.

Bottle. Good appear, nice foam. Fruity aroma, some bananas, lot of wheat. Same in taste. Medium to high carbonation. Claasic weizen but nothing special.

Flasche(@Trinke&Spare WAT): Hazy, "dirty-golden", small & stable creamy head; bananas, wheat, yeast and citrus fruits in the nose; mild to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, pretty light bodied and at least quite soft;; slightly lingering sourish-sweetish finish with flavours of bananas and wheat. O.K. …
