not harsh going down at all. tastes like it has a hint of lemon in it very good. i give it a 10

My favorite beer, can't say enough about it. Try it on tap in the extra large Tucher glass with a lime wedge.

banana, bread, and spice on the nose. hazy yellow pour with a nice bright white head. nice sweet bread flavor with the same flavor lingering on the palate. smooth mouth feel.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Best before 13/11/04. Cloudy, orangey/yellow colour with nice white head. Aroma is strong banana, vanilla and some coriander. Taste is sweet, hops, bananas, apple, bubblegum and wheat. Smooth mouthfeel, refreshing. A very good hefe weizen.

23 oct 07. Draft @ Abbey Brewing Co. in Miami Beach. Hazy, golden color. Thick, white, foamy head. Aroma of rich german malts and wheat. Flavors of malt, hints of lemon/citrus. Light bodied. Very refreshing.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2009 I really enjoyed this beer. It has a nice taste of citrus and a hint of what seems like banana. This beer was a pleasant surprise when I picked it up to sample some German beers. (I had it in the bottle, never seen it in can.)

Sunshiny yellow with gigantic poofy white laced head. Sharp citric-banana aroma. Very light consistency with light esthers, tart and sweet. Very good beer for a hot day.

This hefe seems to be getting a pretty bad wrap for various reasons. Personally, this is an excellent hefe with a great taste and finish. Certainly on par with the other German Hefe greats.

One of my favorite hefes. i got friendly with the local distributors soe years back and we got really shitty on this one night with the company rep from Germany. Easy to drink, maybe too easy.

Amazing-I could have sworn that I had rated this, seeing as how I’ve probably drank enough of it to fill Lake Baikal. Very aromatic, bubblegum and spice (insert Dune joke here). Refreshingly spritzy. In short, excellent.
