500ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. poured into a tall and slim glass. Golden body with a wheat haze. Slowly fading, white head. Sweet citrus smell on a backbone of wheat. Mid-tart apples in the flavour profile offset by sweet citrus fruits and a spicy touch. Sweet and tart ending. Oily palate. Likable weizen (Tromsø, 23.09.2012).

Pretty standard hefe. Cloudy gold. Yeasty, banana, citrus, slight bubblegum. Light. Just fine.

Poured into a Guinness tulip as that’s the closest JDW has to a Weizen glass. (Is this the most expensive beer at JDW, by the way?) Big lasting foam, cloudy gold, lemon, spice, banana and yeasty nose, dry-sweet and lightly bitter on the palate, chewy and lightly banana-spicy, earthy bitterness in the finish. Nice example of the style, and a great Brotzeit (breakfast) beer!

1/29/16 Chicago (1 pint, 0.9 fl oz bottle poured into thin Hefe glass). Clear, pale yellow pour, solid white head. Minimal aroma, sweet but somewhat bland apple taste. Thin texture, minimal carbonation or texture. Disappointing Hefewezien for me.

Rated from old notes. Pours yellow, slightly cloudy, with a foamy head.Pleasant wheat flavor, slightly sweet, and almost aggressively dry. Mellows as you progress. Nothing special.

Lahký letný weizen s plnou chuťou kvasníc, skôr ovocný doraz, výrobca dával dôraz na krásnu farbu

Hazy yellow-orange with thin head. Nose is malts and yeasts in proper Bavarian style, with citrus and banana. Taste goes mostly on the banana’s side, fresh and smooth. Typical Hefeweizen, quite tasty.

Tried at JDW Foley Hotel Malvern and liked it, poured nice with a lasting white foamy head. Citrus tones , lasting aftertaste with slight sweetness, a quaffable hefeweizen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle at Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford. Pours lighter - and clearer - than your average hefeweizen. Sweet banana and biscuit aroma really draws you in. The taste us sweet, almost too much so, with only the slightest bitter backbone. Vanilla wafer and gentle citrus in the aftertaste. Pretty tasty, not the best I’ve had and not the worst.

Fad i Nürnberg. Ufiltreret gullig orange med fin hvid skumkrone. Aromaen er som smagen: banan, lemon, gær og hvede. En ganske fin hvedeøl.

Pours hazy golden with a white, frothy head. It has the aroma of citrus, banana and wheats. It tastes light sweet. The carbonations is pleasantly soft, though the body is full. A decent Weizen and typically refreshing.
