4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Poured a murky yellow with an average sized white creamy head that was mostly lasting and had excellent lacing. The aroma was very strong of a doughy yeast and citrus hops with notes of wheat and banana’s. It tasted exquisite of nice sweet yeast and malts at first and ended with this intense creamy yeast flavor with hints of fruit with the flavor staying on the palate for a nice while. Mouthfeel was extra creamy in texture and light to medium in body with a very mild carbonation. Overall one of the best Hefe-weizen’s I have sampled so far.

Light blonde for a weizen, yellowish, small dense white head. Aroma has some banana and some citrus. Fresh taste, also some banana and citrus in it, medium to full body, it’s a fair nice one

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, leicht bananig, etwas würzig.

Holy cow! Smells like a skuny pilsener and tastes like a fruity wheat and banana hefeweizen. Pretty awesome when you think about it. Hazy straw color with an intricately lacing white head it looks good too.

Tap. Half liter in hefe glass in Nuremberg, Germany. The staple beer in these parts ,it is a hazy yellow with white head. Smells nice, fresh, some citrus, and some yeast. Typical hefe taste, though i would have liked more depth and body.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy golden yellow with a fairly thick eggshell head. Aroma is wheaty and yeasty with a citrus underpinning that is mainly lemony with some orange. Flavor does not quite match the promise of the aroma, being mostly wheaty with fruity and yeasty hints. Texture is tingly though not firm. A little snippet of summer on a cold winter day.

Had on tap in town. Yellowish complexion; whitish head which disappeared after a few minutes of sitting. A little German yeast, a little clove, and a little sweat, but who’s really paying attention at this point? Easy to drink, and easy to refill. I’ll have another.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
colour is golden with a very thick, creamy white head that sticks around. smell is banana, mild slight yoghurt-yeastiness. tastes like banana, wheat, lightly sweet. palate is full, heavy, grainy. the feel is overall highly quaffable and faultless, but mild and not particularly interesting. however i’m in a beer desert and beggars cant be choosers.
