3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A light yellow beer, a head is quite big and white. Aroma has wheat and sourness, some yeast esters and bubblegum with spices. Taste has strong wheat and sourness, some fruits in the end, straightforward and simple. Almost medium bodied, fresh, strong carbonation. Very refreshning, hefe at sour style with low and but enough of fruitness.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy yellow with white head that leaves some lacing. Malty and fruity aroma. Taste has a nice balance between banana notes and crispy herbal notes. A slightly dryish finish. An excellent thirst quencher and tasty hefe weizen. (0,5 l bottle, bb 03.04.16, in a restaurant at the Galeria Kaufhof department store in Nürnberg)

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330 ml bottle bought at Cheers in Yuen Long.
Cloudy, hazy light golden yellow colour with bits of dirt-like yeast sediments; Three-quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Good Sticky lacing and sero carbonation; Aroma of light malt with strong wheat, strong tartness, banana, light pineapple, light vanilla, sugar, faint caramel, yeast, light phenol, light cloves, spices, lemon and faint grass; Tart and fairly light sweet taste of light malt, with strong wheat, banana notes, molasses notes, strong yeast, light cloves, very light spices, moderate lemon and very light grassy hops; Mid to light body. Crisp, slick and smooth palate; Mouth feel is crisp and creamy with strong wheat presence. Quite tart balanced by good malt sweetness. Fruity ester is very low, with banana comes in notes. Load of yeasty taste, faily clovey but not really spicy. Okay… Hoppiness is lemon and very thin grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is even lighter than most Weiss for an abrupt, thin bitter yeasty finish; Fairly dry after taste. Crisp, smooth and quite tart to mouth.
Comments: Almost like a macro weiss, with the exception of good malt, strong tart wheat and smooth taste, everything has a minimal approach so aroma-and taste-wise it’s barely competent but can’t go further to impress. Barely okay and unimpressive.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
5.2% ABV. Hefeweizen
Blonde head, hangs around for a bit. Pours out a golden blonde. Very actively carbonated.
Nose is wheaty and musty. Always reminds me of when I was kid and crushed black ants.
First mouthful is full of carbonated fun and light. A little frivolous to be taken seriously.
Wheat beers really don’t strike me as having a lot to say. They are certainly refreshing and light enough to be enjoyable. A very agreeable companion to food, and not interesting enough on its own to be the main event. Strange what a different yeast and a different fermentation process can end up producing.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cor dourada clara com tons palha, um pouco turva e com certo brilho; espuma branca e cremosa de alta formação e persistência de uma camada espessa quase sem lacing.
Aroma de banana e cravo e leve toque herbáceo;
Sabor gramíneo com meio de cravo, um pouco de acidez e amargor assertivo para uma Weizen; final com leve dulçor de banana; retrogosto gramíneo e de cravo; corpo leve e carbonatação média.
