4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 wildpig99 (3) - Arkansas, USA - JAN 8, 2003 does not count
This is one of the best German beers by far. I used to drink this when I was staioned in Vilseck West Germany and I wish I could find it here in the states. Not your typical tasting German brew, it has a smooth hopping and great taste. The King of Helles beers!
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 jonas (5060) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - NOV 2, 2002
UPDATED: NOV 25, 2003 Re-rate
Mainly sweet malt
in the aroma.
No much head retention, golden color, not much carbonation. Malt dominates - bitterhop finish.
Wellbalanced, but boring.
Ok body, dry mouthfeel.
