Is this the same beer as Tucher Pilsner but in a flasher bottle. I don’t know. Any way decent head, low carbonation and straw and yellow water. No 1776 or other laws referred to on trendy looking bottle.

Nothing much going on here. Yellow and corny with water and bland malts. Reminds me of a bad eastern european lager.

Palme (3591) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 3, 2013
0.33l bottle. My expectations are not extreme, but I’ll give it a fair go. It’s crystal clear and golden in the glass with a nice medium sized light bubbly white lager top. It’s sweet on the nose, lots of corn and some pale malts. Quite classic really, and not bad at all. It’s thin watery on the mouthfeel and the carbonation level is about average. It tastes pretty standard lagerish this. Some mild malty flavors, a good dash of grains, some thin watery caramel and a pilsner - bitterness. Nothing special either way really. Quickly forgettable. 16.03.2013

Vom Fass in Rothenburg. Das übliche Pils wie es es hunderte gibt. NIcht wirklich schlecht, aber ziemlich herb bzw. bitter, ohne ausgeprägte Hopfenblume. Recht langweilig, schade!

Medium white shiny head. Clear pale yellow body with light carbonation. Faint sugary papery aroma. Dry-sweet fruity grassy taste. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dryish spicy honey aftertaste with lingering bitter papery notes. Kind of anonymous, but not really bad in any way. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Draught at Bratwurst Roslein, Nurnberg, Germany. Poured a clear pale golden colour with a two-finger white foamy head that collapsed quickly. Very low carbonation. Aroma of fruity malts. Taste of slightly sweet malt (no bitterness). Light body. Ordinary.

Standard Pils pour: effervescent, clear yellow-gold, with an above-average eggshell head and very good retention and lacing. The aroma is earthy, lightly spicy, and of moderate hop dankness. The flavor is just dandy and clean. This is a well-balanced and well-crafted Pils. Grainy malts combine with a woody-spicy hoppiness and a tea-like bitter finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and soft, with fine medium carbonation.Well, what’d ya know? Another well-made Pilsner from Germany.
