3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Pours a very bright lemony yellow with a robust white head that retains well. Fresh grainy aroma with notes of lemon and flowers. Palate is crisp, clean, and light with delicate flavours of slightly sweet grains and floral lemony character. Medium bitterness in the finish. This paired really well with spicy thai tuna melts covered in sharp cheese.

Lightly spicy with a light malt character. Light body. Hints of spice. A fairly simple industrial pils.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle (in NZ). Pours a straw colour with a filmy head. Light and unoffensive malty aroma. Quite heavy on the carbonation, which adds to a pretty dry palate. Touches of earthy malt before a short finish.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I had this while travelling in Germany. It was one of the worst beers I had there, but was the "local drop" in Nuremberg, so had it with the bratwurst and it was decent. I’ve just found it here in NZ and it’s much nicer than I remember. Soft and malty, with a firmly bitter finish. Nothing amazing, but a good example of a German pilsener.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Beautiful very light clear straw yellow, decent clear white head that holds then drops to a lace after the first mouthful. Light earthy aroma. Well carbonated a little chalky in the front palate but drys and lingers with a nice bitter dirty earthy hop finish. Pretty reasonable and I’d drink another.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: Pale golden to golden, small but lacy white head; grainy-papery nose plus the inevitable grassy hops; moderate, quite dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; molecular traces of sweet pale malt in the bitter-sweet finish. Typical faceless macro-stuff.........

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a pale golden and ever so slightly cloudy. Decent fluffy white head with some lacing. Aroma is pale malt sweetness and soft hop flowers. Sweet malt flavor not unlike fresh wort when home brewing. There is also some bread dough and minimal hoppiness in the taste. Pretty good German-style pilsner, but a bit pricey at $8.99 a six and only 11.2 oz per bottle.

Multiple tastings. Catching up on some of the beers I drank in the past. Drank these while traveling in Germany. Do not remember the details other than they were OK.
