Tucher Pilsener is brewed according to the old rules of the Franconian brewing with the utmost care. Apart from best ingredients like "Pilsener" barley malt, the famous Hallertau aroma hops "Tradition", and soft brewing water from our own wells is a very important factor. During fermentation and storage of sud will not move and can mature peacefully.

Im Geruch getreidig-hopfig, etwas metallisch. Geschmacklich süffig-herb in Antrunk und Mitte. Langes Bitter-Finish. Typisches süddeutsches Pils. Ordentlich gebraut. Geht.Test vom 3.7.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Pours a golden color with a small well retained head. The aroma is very sweet and grainy with loads of honey character and a little bit of soap. The flavor is more enjoyable a tad overly sweet with some distinct honey notes. The hoppiness in this one is really pretty well pronounced with a big herbal hop bite and a bitterness throughout to match. As the glass gets more empty I keep noticing odd bits here and there like bread dough & apple cider. Overall the beer is a little weird and too sweet but the hops are right on so that part is pretty enjoyable.

Bottle from Bamberg. Pours clear yellow with a creamy egg white head and lacings. Very grainy nose and flavor. A bit bland. Medium bodied. Not much going on. Decent.

Can somewhere during my Germany trip. Golden color with medium white head. Hops, some grain in aroma. Taste, refreshing, grain, some fruits, bittersweet finish. Nothing special.

Frischer, minimal malziger Antrunk. Test vom 25.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,8,8,7,8 - 8,05

More towards the center on flavor, more like an international interpretation (American) of a pilsner, not horrible just not as dry as other German Pilsners.

Pale yellow color with very, very steadfast, fine head. Very much CO2 goes up. The smell is subtle hoppy, minimally sweet. The beer starts discreet and musty, also bitterhoppy. The aftertaste is hoppy with musty-bitter-metallic aroma. The center part is also musty and strange metallic-bitter. No successful Pils!

(bottle) pours a clear yellow colour with a towering frothy white head. aroma of straw, with some shy notes of floral hops and a slight tinge of honey. flavour is the same, though less subtle, with some slightly cardboardy notes and a very dry grainy, even alcoholic finish. medium body and carbonation.
