DSG (844), Yuvalim, Israel May 14, 2008 Draught (from the new self-cooling keg) sample at a beer festival in kibbutz Ma’abarot, May ’08. Straw color. Hoppy, quite grassy aroma. Sweetish flavor with malt and bread and a bitter hoppy finish. Rather light-bodied. Not bad.
SHIG (1484), Oberoffligen, Germany Aug 4, 2008 Draught: Poured a golden color. Very skunky aroma not clean. Taste is blah at best. sir_Pino (515), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Jul 30, 2008 No 408

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Head is rocky, snowy white, medium in size, quite quickly decreasing, leaves some traces of lacing, carbonation of the body is medium and generally beer decarbonates, body is strawy yellow and pale, perfectly clear in texture.
Aroma: Yeasty, alcoholic, chalky but not as much as other German Pilseners, nice aromatic hoppy nose but slightly alcoholic, aroma is rather gentle, mild and nice, some pure clean malty base hidden under the aromatic hoppyness.
Flavour: Classic good quality Pilsener, surprisingly similar to many Bohemian Pilseners, taking into consideration its maltyness, nice sharp hoppyness on palate and aromatic hoppy nose, definitely tilting towards bitterness, finish duration is medium to long in its bitterness.
Palate: Body is light, texture is dry, carbonation on palate is medium, finish feel is very dry, bitter from sharp hoppyness.
Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 Golden with a nice, white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavour is a bit thin, and it has light notes of straw, malt and a refreshing, slightly dry bitterness. It’s quenching, wet & cold and offends no one. Een echte duitser. Niet al te sterk.
