Tucher Pilsener is brewed according to the old rules of the Franconian brewing with the utmost care. Apart from best ingredients like "Pilsener" barley malt, the famous Hallertau aroma hops "Tradition", and soft brewing water from our own wells is a very important factor. During fermentation and storage of sud will not move and can mature peacefully.

Flaschenbier. Sehr vollmundig für ein Pils, weicher Geschmack mit bitterem Abgang. Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu schwer für ein Pils, aber trotzdem gut trinkbar.

Bottle. Clear golden, tall frothy white head. Good retention. Grains, spicy hop on nose. Light to medium body. Clean grainy taste. Light hoppy bitterness. Well balanced. A good pilsner.

(330ml bottle, 5% ABV, 11.5 P, Beijing) Aroma: pils hops, cheese, butter, grass. Appearance: relatively light straw yellow, very clear, moderate amount of white head that disappears relatively quickly. Taste: lots of hop flavor, wood, smoke, burnt toast, not too complex. Palate: a bit light/watery with some oiliness, bitter, a little astringent and alcoholy, dry finish. Overall: A bit off balance between malt and hops. The bitterness/hoppiness is borderline harsh, and has an alcoholy taste even though only 5% ABV. Pils is probably my second favorite beer, so I’m slightly disappointed.

Barwa jasna, słomkowa, piana ładna. Aromat słodowy - mokre, pszenne pieczywo. W smaku lekkie, trochę wodniste. Wyraźna strona słodowa i ziemista, niska goryczka na finiszu. Zbyt puste.

50cl bb02/2016, REWE BAyreuth, as "Tucher Pilsener. Brauart Feinherb." Grainy sour mash aroma, slight sulphurs from spent grain dregs. Unpleasant worty sour mash persists in taste pierced by a vegetal bitterness from grain hulls: leek, stalks, paper. Some quality golden pils malts and hop underneath all that astringent unpleasantness.
