It’s dark brown with a red hue and a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, syrup and caramel. The flavour is sweet with notes of malt, syrup and caramel, and the finish is slightly dry with a hint of syrup. It’s nice, but the sweetness is a bit too strong, and makes me give a slightly lower score.

Appearance: Deep chestnut tinted-body with a porous beige head on the top.
Aroma: Moderate lagery yeast sourness with a touch of earthy feel and some faint burnt sugar.
Flavor: Mildly sweet toffes, oily, nutty, toasty malts followed by a smooth, slighlty sour, yeasty notes and framed with soft and spicy hops.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Pleasantly easy but enough mouth-filling body with saturated carbonation and a good caramel malty-flavor-profile.
Overall: A very clean and pure bavarian dunkel. Not too unique, but tasy one.

Bottled 500ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest. Red brown coloured, medium sized off’-white head, sweetish malty nose. Light roasted malt, brown sugar and caramel with notes of fruits and nuts. Also some hops in the finish.

Pours a dark brown with a pale brown head beside average carbonation.
Sweet, light roasty, yeasty nose and a sweetsour taste.
Caramell flavour, roasty and grassy hoppy aroma.
The finish is light coffeebitter and dry.
Medium body. tiny sticky texture. An average dunkel.

Bottle, 500ml. Pours a dark brown colour with a nice light brown head and great lacing. The aroma brings up dark malt notes and some caramel. Tastes of roasted malt, caramel, some light hoppiness and just a hint of coffee. Great beer.

Golden brown colour. Head is a bit fizzy. A little bit toasty on the nose. The body is a shade thin, but with good dark malt character - liquorice, toffee, dark sugars and some toastiness. Finishes sweet, lightly molassesy.

Bottle @ Tannenbaum, Furth. Dark coppery-brown, a warm color. Fizzy head disappears fast. The aroma is cakey with tons of caramel. Soft palate with lingering sweet finish. Sweet, caramel, bready malt, the flavors are friendly, simple, and sweet.

500ml glass at Tucher am Opernhaus, Nürnberg. This is a lesson in the art of dunkel brewing. Dark chocolate brown in colour, with a firm and creamy head. Rich and full-flavoured. Smooth, with a strong bitterness at the finish. A delicious beer.

Appearance puors deep dark brownish red, beautiful body colour, body is literally brownish red, quite amazing and nice, carbonation of the body is moderate, head is greyish, off white, initially small and quickly disappearing, no lacing, very bright as for Dunkel,
Aroma first of all dark bread, burned sugar, cacao and vanilla, gentle flowery sweet hoppyness, some notes of herbal aromaa and spices, in general very weak but clean and good in quality, the aroma is not so intensive as it has decarbonated very quickly,
Flavour front is moderately bitter with distinctive but moderate in strenght, notes of cacao, dark chockolate, dark bread, ashyness and toastyness, Munich malt in nose, juicy malty grains, very clear but slightly dusty, gently sweet flowery oriented hoppy nose, gentle note of alcohol, finish duration is moderate,
Palate body is light, texture is rather wattery, carbonation on palate is medium, finish feel is kind of natural with notes of bread in flavour
