COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship ale is a traditional American Pale Ale that uses a balance of Centennial, Cascade, and Willamette hops. The flower, citrus, and spice aromas compliment the initial bitterness of this perfectly drinkable all-season ale. From your backyard barbeques to midwinter feasts, DC Pale Ale will satisfy.

My bottle 6.0% abv. Floral/citrus and very sweet aromatics with an unfortunate airy and meaty quality, not ruling out infection, but could just be an excitable yeast. Bright and classic golden pour with tons of carbonation, far too much, with a dense and frothy off-white head. Taste is very sweet and lightly soured. Malt is sunny, hops are oily and lightly fruity, low bitterness relative to the other flavors. Medium body, perhaps a dash lighter. Need to work out the sanitation issues.

Bottle shared by jcwatts at his casa. Porued a fuller orange body with a foamy white head. Aroma was sweet, lots of malts here for a pale ale. Notes of dough, paste, grains and some plastic. Medium bodied with softer carbonation. Flavor of dough, rainsin bran flakes, and some old sweet raisins. This is a pale ale. awfully sweet in my eyes.

Draft at the brewery with Linh, mom and scarlett. Pours a light hazy amber body with big creamy white head. Aroma is light hop, but mostly caramel malt and a big vanilla character. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy wIth notes of caramel malt, vanilla, spice and light fruit.

From a firkin at AC beer fest in the moustache lounge. Pours a hazy golden amber color, with a nice frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, floral and grassy hops, and some sweet caramel malt. Taste is grassy, floral and citrus hops, with a caramel malt backbone.

No bottling information.
Appearance: This is too dark of a color for my liking being a dark amber, near brown body. The head is thin and light tan with mediocre retention, it dissipates into a messy coating.
Aroma: The aroma is very mild and inoffensive, hints of sweet citrus and floral aromas. I wish it were stronger.
Taste: The flavor is very inoffensive, like the aroma, and also very bland. Malts are the main flavor here, providing a slightly sweet base with some caramel. The hops add almost no bitterness, just there to balance the sweetness, mostly providing subtle floral flavors, light citrus, and a very light spice on the finish.
Palate: Medium body with ample carbonation.
Overall: Nothing really to note here, it’s a mediocre pale ale that’s likely brewed with the mainstream palate in mind. This needs a more robust hop presence, even if only slightly.
