COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A German Style brown ale brewed with dark, rich Belgian specialty malts and domestic whole hops. The alt will have a dark copper color and will have a slightly fruity, bittersweet flavor. It is a beer for the more adventurous, for people with an appreciation for a beer with a rich malt character and a balanced hop finish.

Thin brown pour with no head, looks like a coke. Juicier bodied brew with toasted malts and caramel and vanilla touch. Dusty malty fruit character, with a souring, quiet finish. Decent brew.

From a 12 fl. oz. bottle with am expiration date of September. Presumably this is September 2008. Pours dark brown with a little ruby red mixed in. But it mostly brown. There is a beige, creamy head that stays around for a while. Aroma of cocoa, malts, and hops. Feels bold in the mouth. I can notice some hops in the flavor but it is not overpowering at all. Overall it comes across as crisp and clean. This was a nice brew.

Bottle, courtesy of hopscotch. Pours a dull brown color with a small tan head. Nice bright, lively sweet malt nose with bread crust and date sugar notes. Lots of bread crust in the body. Thin dry finish. A bit gassy but good.

Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a cloudy dark brown, with a medium, well-retained light khaki head. Very mild aroma, tough to pick out much at all, although it wasnt offensive in anyway. A touch of light fruits, maybe some caramel malt, and a little biscuity. The flavor was of typical alt style, fairly mild, with not a huge amount of flavor. A little musty, some grapes and light malt flavors arose. Pretty forgetable, but drinkable.

Sampled on tap, this is a new Brown Ale that’s been introduced by Tuckerman brewing. I thought it was pretty good. Brown, copper tinted Ale, balanced malt aroma. Flavor is rich malts, semi sweet with a slightly bitter hop finish. Rich malts jump out at first but the rest is fairly mild, leaving for a little bit of a thin mouthfeel. I’d get it again.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a coppery brown color with an off white head. Aroma is malty, but faint. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin with moderate carbonation. Flavor is malty & nutty. A pretty good average brew.

Bottle… Clear, beautiful, copper ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Nutty aroma with chocolate and cinnamon notes alongside restrained herbal and floral hops. Medium to full-bodied and lightly creamy with moderate carbonation. Perfectly balanced with just a hint of acidity. Insinuations of chocolate and caramel malts, but bland and very thin. Mid-length, crisp, modestly bitter finish.

Courtesy of Emerica56 & Drink4satan. Pours a dark brown color with a small whispy off white head. Nose is very faint of dark chocolate touched with fruits and aluminum compounds. Initial taste is watery thin body with touches of that dark malts that give mild roastiness and dark chocolate bitterness. Mid palate is heavily noticeable of nuts, more almond than anything. Finishing with a touch of bitter hops. Great head retention and lacing of the glass.

Pours a thick sudsy head with a clear nut brown color and some shades of red. The nose is a but nutty with some hints of hops but nothing too intence. As you sip on the brew itself there is some indication of bitter hops but it all fades as quick as the beer slides down your throat. The body is full of some spice and I like how it is a refreshing beer. This would be nice to have right after a long day on the hill.
