COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tuckerman Brewing Co.’s flagship beer. Our interpretation of an American style Pale Ale, it is brewed using English and Belgian specialty malts and four different domestic whole hops. It is dry hopped and bottle conditioned, creating a beer with a strong malt character and a floral yet spicy hop quality. Tuckerman Pale Ale will be available year round. Currently, it is our introductory beer and is our only brew available.

On tap @ The Page, Portsmouth, NH Color was a pale yellow color, small layer of white head, nearly no lacing. Light grapefruit on the nose. Taste was of malt and slight grapefruit hops. No bitterness at all, which I like a lot. High carbonation the left the mouth dry on the finish. Even with the dry finish it leaves you thirsting for more. Easy drinker. I could drink large amounts of this and feel no shame.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy dark gold body with a nice frothy one finger beige head that had excellent retention. The hopping is fairly light even for an APA, some slight leafy and floral qualities. Some biscuity and lightly toasted maltiness below. The flavor is lightly bitter, seems to have more of an English Pale Ale character than American, with the green leafy hoppiness. Light biscuity maltiness provides the framework. Lighter bodied and rather lively on the tongue, it’s quite drinkable. Nothing that will blow you away, but I have no trouble polishing off a few of these in a sitting.

12 oz - Shared by Steve at Pratt St. Ale House. Hazed orange, creamy off white head. Soft citric-floral aromas warm to lighter swirls of caramel biscuit throughout. Flavors of the same, balances well, with quick fading clean hop finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very easy drinking...

From the 12 fl. oz bottle with an expiration date of Dec 2010. Pour - cloudy copper with long lasting, foamy, puffy, beige head and thin but consistant lacing. Aroma - has a nice well-balanced mixture of caramel malts, light hops, and a hint of citrus. Mouthfeel - comes in smooht and medium. Taste - fresh as can be with a clean caramel malt and thin hoppy balance. Overall very refreshing and a pale ale I could drink often.

On tap at a bar near Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. Pours a hazy copperish color with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is caramel malt and citrusy and floral hops. Flavor is also caramel malt and grapefruit/orange and floral hops. Nice sweetness and bitterness levels. A little rough on the palate with hop oils and medium body. Solid for the style.

12 oz bottle from Largiari. Nose of sweet floral hops, light caramel, and a hint of bubblegum. Slightly hazy gold with a medium, glass lacing, plae yellow head. Flavor is lightly sweet, bubblegum, a bit of bitterness, and a pale lager grainy taste. Drinkable but just alright, would not be a favorite.

Amber brown body with almost no head. Aroma has notes of citrus, mostly orange and lemon peel. Flavor is floral with a slight malt character. Mouth feel is a bit light and watery. Refreshing and quite enjoyable.
