COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tuckerman Brewing Co.’s flagship beer. Our interpretation of an American style Pale Ale, it is brewed using English and Belgian specialty malts and four different domestic whole hops. It is dry hopped and bottle conditioned, creating a beer with a strong malt character and a floral yet spicy hop quality. Tuckerman Pale Ale will be available year round. Currently, it is our introductory beer and is our only brew available.

Clear gold with a cottony white head. Light fruit, caramel aroma. Taste is sweet, mild caramel with a slightly fruity bittering. Very smooth. Not bad.

This beer pours a cloudy orangish yellow with an average white head. There is a lot of grain flavor here, it is slightly sour and sweet with a little bit of spice to it. This beer finishes moderately bitter.

Bottle. Light toffee malt and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet orange malt and mildly bitter orange peel flavor. Body on the light side. Easy drinking but on the bland side.

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy rich gold/light amber color with 1 inch head, some lacing. Aroma is a little bit of orange/citrus with a bit of resin, balanced by a little malt. There is moderate bitterness on the tongue, a mix of citrus and resin, as well as a bit of sweetness mid-taste. Carbonation is medium-high. Medium mouthfeel with a medium finish. Drinks fairly easy and would be good session beer. Finish is a bit much to really enjoy though.

Draft. Pours murky orange with zero head. Little to no aroma or carbonation. Slightly more flavorful than a typical mass brewed beer. Very forgettable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Hoppy aroma, above average carbonation. Very dry, hoppy mouthfeel. Slightly bitter finish. Drinkable, but surpassed by many other IPA’s, esp. if compared A-B.

VALIS (228) - Nashua, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 25, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2013 Scent is corn, cardboard, a little citrus -- certainly not as bad as one of the mass produced beers but not what you’d hope for. Taste is nice, though, Malty, mild hops, smooth, just enough aftertaste to make you smack your lips. Nice tasting beer, yet the other categories are lacking.

A pretty standard pale ale. No flavors that really stand out and make this beer memorable but it isn’t really bad either.
