COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tuckerman Brewing Co.’s flagship beer. Our interpretation of an American style Pale Ale, it is brewed using English and Belgian specialty malts and four different domestic whole hops. It is dry hopped and bottle conditioned, creating a beer with a strong malt character and a floral yet spicy hop quality. Tuckerman Pale Ale will be available year round. Currently, it is our introductory beer and is our only brew available.

A pretty standard pale ale. No flavors that really stand out and make this beer memorable but it isn’t really bad either.

Draft at dinner last night with my wife. Clear golden pour with a white film for a head. Not much going on with the aroma, bready malts, some citrusy hops, but very muted. Taste is just plain beer, not overly malty, not much hop character, just beer. Easy drinking and brewed in NH, so that scores some points with me.

Solid beer a little bit low on flavor but overall a good pale ale. I would like to visit the brewery.

Pours hazy amber copper with a small thin white head. Aroma is caramel, citrus and a hint of earthyness. Taste is mild bitters with some sweetness. Medium bodied. More malty then hoppy.

On tap at the Holiday Inn, Portsmouth, NH. An attractive golden amber pour with a thin white head; perfumed aroma; light biscuity malt taste; and a soft fruity finish. Quite refined and elegant for an APA.

Bottled 3/4/14, a freshie. Waffle-malt and light floral aroma. Sediment filled orange. Basic malt sweetness, a touch of hops, really a classical interpretation of pale ale. Very soft and extremely drinkable. Neither great nor bad.

Pours a cloudy, dark gold. Nose of malt...lacks citrus typical of APA. Taste of sweet bready malt, followed by some muted bitterness. Almost like a cross between an APA and a pilsner. Very drinkable, but not all that interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - via Ale in the Mail. Light golden-copper color - very cloudy. Aroma is both malt and hops. Pretty good - both malty and hoppy, but with some esthery flavors.
