Tuckerman Brewing Co.’s flagship beer. Our interpretation of an American style Pale Ale, it is brewed using English and Belgian specialty malts and four different domestic whole hops. It is dry hopped and bottle conditioned, creating a beer with a strong malt character and a floral yet spicy hop quality. Tuckerman Pale Ale will be available year round. Currently, it is our introductory beer and is our only brew available.

Bottle at home in CT. Pours clear, honey-gold with a frothy off-white head. The nose has some crackery malts, lightly tangy citrus, bread. Medium sweet flavor, lightly syrupy, with more crackers, orange, some white grape, alcohol. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with further tangy citrus, tangerine, a bit of raw alcohol, graham crackers, sugar. Maybe this beer isn’t totally fresh or something, because this is not great.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2003 Revised rating: Hazy amber; aroma of lemon, flowers, some nuttiness. Long woody palate, some chewy earthiness, passion fruit, kumquat.

Cheers to VENOM for sending me this one - light copper, slight haze; interesting nose: oranges & lacquer. Tasty beer, though - light in body but with a good flowery hop character. Rating 2.8

A basic pale style. Neutral arom. Modest head on light body. Malty and a bit acidic. Like a homebrewed pale.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2008 Bottle... Murky, golden ale with a small, frothy, white head. Lemon, sweat and light apricot aroma. Lightly bitter and floral. Light to medium-bodied and a touch creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp and floral. Thanks go out to growler for the bottle!
