boFNjackson (505), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 22, 2007 Tap... Opaque, golden color with no head. This beer was like the combination of a fruity wheat beer with an IPA. It was a sugary flavor explosion of grapefuit and apricot followed by an intensely bitter hop finish. It was very interesting. Some gulps I really enjoyed it, others... I thought, what were they thinking? It’s certainly unique. bb (2088), Martinez, California, USA Sep 4, 2007 Draft. Light amber beer with a low off-white head. Nice grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor. Nice flavor, but lower hop bitterness. Not bad. Lingering hop flavor. JoeMcPhee (3692), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Oct 31, 2005 Cloudy golden colour, thin white head. Dirty hop aroma, thick and heavy resins. Light spice/herbal hops, but the malts are clobbered by harsh bitterness. No subtlety. Horrible stuff. motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Dec 4, 2004 on tap at tugboat. aroma of grapefuit and bedsheets that haven’t been washed for a long time. golden and surprisingly bitter. some orange rind tang. pretty pleasant stuff duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jun 17, 2004 Tap@Tugboat. This was actually pretty bitter and lemony, some tropical lychee flavours, lots of lemon rind. Some odd dirty diapers aswell, pretty unique i thought, bitter finish.
