Tugboat British Brown

On tap at Tugboat. Another pour offering from this cool location. dark amber body with no head. Mild hops presence, but quite homebrew like. flat body, not very enjoyable. Syrupy, but thin.

Draft: Citrus, lemon & grapefriut. Red wine nose. Dark amber brown. No head. Clear. Grapefruit/lemon rind. A little roasty/ burnt taste. Bitter dry finish. Tasty beer, not in styleat all. Maybe more ipa than brown.

Dark amber, but clear body, with a rather loose tan head. Very hoppy aroma, and a very hop predominated flavor, perhaps too much for the style. I've noticed they tend to overhop many of their beers. Definately needs more malt, less hops.
