Yet another addition to the 1488 range - designed to reflect the original character of the beer which was once produced at the brewery sited here. Tullibardine 1488 Ales are distinctive, their characteristic traits beautifully balanced by a depth and complexity so closely associated with Tullibardine Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This truly remarkable Ale is best drunk chilled, perhaps being chased by a dram of your favourite Tullibardine Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

This is not a beer for drinking. This is a beer for laying down and avoiding. Nose is prefumed malt, with a soapy, unappealing character. Palate was boring with an almost sickly sweetness. Bah! Terrible!

Been around for 2 years? and not even on the site?! 400ml bottle. Amber with a decent lasting bubbly head. Light skunky grass and grain aroma. The closest of the 1488s to Innes and Gun. Mouth drying finish. More barrel and whisky hints than beer. Very light beer with plenty of light whisky cask.
