Golden beer with small head. Sweet, floral and a little bit roasty aroma. Sweet flavor with an unpleasant animal leather retronasal note.medium body, slightly oily and flat carbonation. Slightly astringent beer. Disappointing beer.

0,33l bottle as gift. Clear, deep golden colored beer with medium, frothy, white head. Basicly alcohol and malt aroma. Some molasses and some wooden flavour also appears. Basicly it’s dry, but the alcohol gives it some sweetness. Light body, slick texture, average carbonation. Alcoholly and dry finish. A classic malty ale with alcohol, malt and liqueur flavour.

Bottle shared at RBWG! Pours a hazy golden orange with a creamy white head and light lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, toffee, caramel, vanilla, a hint of bourbon. Taste follows, medium body, add some light fruitiness and sweet candied sugar. Nothing special.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, white head. Aroma has notes of almond, biscuit, toffee, grain. Taste is initially minimally to moderately sweet with toffee notes, later dry, earthy, grassy, mineralic, some peat. Nice taste.

Flaske. Pours clear golden, with a finger thick head. A lot of things going on in the aroma with roasted caramel malts, toffee and grain on top, as well as some peat and vinous, whisky-like oakiness with honey and heather. Creamy body with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet and with definite whisky notes of lots of malts and smoke. At first it’s almost nauseating cardboard-ish and buttery grains, but with temperature this fades away for a more balanced and nice long sweet malty finish.

Sample pour at RBWG, poured a light amber color with aromas of oxidized caramel, light bread, a touch of dark fruit and some biscuit. Flavors are the same oxidized fruit in the aftertaste. Thanks to whoever brought this beer.

Bottle at RBWg 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours lightly hazy amber with a fine, creamy white head. Oxidized malt nose, toffee. Medium sweet flavor, ripe fruits, golden raisins, breads malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, malty finish, toasty bread, caramel. Simple sugary beer.

Honey coloured with thin white head. Toffee, fudge, oak shavings, sweet raisins and a touch of whisky. Medium sweet with quite a short finish. Thin on the palate with almost perfect carbonation for type of beer. Decent enough beer at a reasonable price.
