Poured from a 500 mL bottle. Pours clear light caramel. Head fades quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is faint barley. Flavour is sweet bread-pudding up front with an overly sweet peaty aftertaste. I appreciate the attempt using scotch whiskey casks but this doesn't work.

33 cl bottle brewed in 2015. Label matches picture. 7% alc.. Conditioned in oak casks used to mature scottish whisky. as "1488 premium whisky beer" Clear dark golden, large offwhite head. aroma of malts, caramel , old hops, toffee. smells like one of the not so good uk vintage beers. flavor is grass, malts, whisky, wood, quite sweet, no noticeable hops, but the flowery sweetness inside the malty and caramelly sweetnes could be from hops. More or less as sweet as a barley wine. the toffee and caramel bends it towards cloying.

Fabricada por una destileria y fermentada en barrica de roble donde macera el whisky. Sin duda le da su caracter especial, tanto en el aroma como en el sabor. Bien de textura y de cuerpo. Color miel y espuma poco abundante. Sabor malteado, algo alcohólico. Curiosa. Merece ser probada.

Tullibardine 1488 whisky beer [7%] enjoyed on the Seaton Cliffs, Angus. Very mild aroma with more Malt and less whisky than expected. Very smooth medium body with good prickly. medium carbonation. Eventually some woody and whisky flavors build.

Bière très légèrement aromatisée d’une très belle couleur. De manière générale goute un peu trop l’alcohol (trop marquée). Mais agrésble au palais. Sans trop de goût....un peu fade.

Bottle at black Bull tavern. Clear brown, small head. Peaty aroma with oak in it, has something of whisky. Taste is very sweet malt, with low hops. Aftertaste is malty, unfortunately no oak or peat. I liked it.

aroma is heavy alcoholic, hints of whisky, faint stoutlike in the back... warming liquid, sweet.... warming finish.... watery... very very blend... headless, clear, ugly... not a good beer, more like a failed experiment that someone had to bottle... get’s better after a while though, after the wheat shines through and gives it a more bready body
