COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Come Friday January 13th, we’ll be pouring the second big beer that I’ve brewed at TCT – Siberian Winter Imperial Stout. Worked up from an old homebrew recipe of mine, this stout comes in at 10.2% ABV and is a blend of 9 different grains and 2 different hops. It has a full body with huge roast, chocolate and dark fruit flavors and is sure to keep you warm on these cold New England nights we’ve been having. In brewing this beer I really tested the limits of our brew system to find out just how much grain it can handle. The pictures show just how full the Mash Tun was that day. I look forward to sharing this beer with everyone and hope you all have as much enjoyment tasting it as I had brewing it!

This is the latest batch that actually comes in at 9.8%. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Smells of roasted malt, chocolate, some dark fruit, spicy. Tastes bitter and chocolatey with a nice compliment of licorice and a sweet finish.

Black oily pour from the tap into a pint glass. Tan head that lasted only a little while. Roasted malt, nutty, spicy aroma. Taste is fairly normal for an imperial stout with some chocolate and phenolic characteristics. Alcohol is evident all the way through. Peppery finish.
