COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jet black this stout has a coffee aroma and a fair amount of roasted malt bitterness. Despite its color it has a light body and the low alcohol makes it easy to drink.

Good solid stout. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malt, color and head are very guinness like. Taste is a little watery, mostly just the taste that doesnt live up to the aroma unfortunately.

Thin pour with no head. Tasted a bit like flat coke. This was definitely the worst of the beers I had their. Lacked body or complexity. Lightly sweet with some chocolate.

On tap at the source Pours a dark brown that borders on black with a creamy tan head that shows incredible retention and decent lace. Smells of roasted coffee, chocolate, and light ash. Taste is not as roasty as the aroma would lead you to believe, but does add some caramel and a light phenolic that weren’t there in the aroma. Medium to light body, light level of carbonation, and an oily slick mouthfeel. This was the least favorite of the brews I had at Tullycross.

Pours dark brown with a nice light brown head. Smells lightly chocolatey and peppery. Tastes nutty and slightly roasty with some peppery splashes on the finish.
