COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer bridges the gap between our Light and IPA. Golden in color with a bready malt character and a firm hop bitterness followed by a slight citrus flavor and aroma.

In short: A typical but well made hoppy pale ale
How: Tap at Vermont Brewers Festival 2011
The look: Clear copper body topped by a very small beige head
In long: Nose is quite hoppy and with a grassy/leafy/floral signature. Pleasant crisp slightly toasted biscuity malts, only a bit of caramel, bread crust, plenty of juicy leafy hops. Refreshing juicy bitterness of medium intensity. Got a few samples in a row of this one. An unspectacular but highly drinkable session pale ale I could drink a gallon of every day. It is highly possible that me going to beer festivals and drinking as much beer as I can won’t fix the crumbling word economy, but it is well worth a try.

Draft at the source. Hazy golden color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of subtle straw. Taste is dilute and slightly sour straw.

on draft at the brewery, a bit thin and watery, decent malt profile. Easy drinker but a little too thin for me

Taste is bland with very light notes of resin, bread, and spruce. The flavors are very subdued and its a bit boring. Not a bad beer but not good either.

Draught sample at the brewpub. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells resiny and floral with some earthy undertones. Tastes lightly resiny with some spicy elements on the finish
