Draught at Monk Cafe Wallingatan, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, huge head. Floral nose with slight butter. Mid sweet with soft mouthfeel and medium body. Interesting floral forest berry flavour. Mildly caramelly with fairly low bitterness. Mild with nice malt character and some interesting flavours.

On tap at Monks Porterhouse, Stockholm. Malty brew, aromatic hops, but I don’t really know what to make of this. I know Weienstephan is a brewing college, maybe this is the master brew for someone getting his diploma? Over-ripe oranges, mango, too low in bitterness.

Pours hazy dark amber with a fading head. Plenty of malt in the aroma, big caramel and golden syrup overtones. Also some spicy and floral notes. Flavours include some of the aforementioned malt and more floral and spicy notes. There’s also a faint metallic note unfortunately. Carbonation could be a bit higher.

Svesse (5197) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - NOV 9, 2012
(Draught at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm) Orange amber colour with dense, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of toasty grain, caramel, toffee and orange. Malty, fruity taste with toast, orange, apricots, treacle toffee and a mild citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Quite malty for a pale ale, which seems quite reasonable for a German Pale Ale. Quite nice.

Tap. Light amber with small head. Big hops, especially for a german beer. Smooth pale ale in an American style.

Hazy amber with a small white head. Bready dough along with some red candy sucker, a bit of dirty hops and a touch of acidity. Medium carbonation, chewy mouthfeel.

Draught@Man In The Moon, Stockholm. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, toffeeish caramelly and rather herbal/grassy hops as well. Flavour is fruity, floral, caramelly, floral and hoppy. Quite sweet maltyness with a nice bitterness to it. Pleasant with food as well (had it with a "Wallenbergare").
