A german company doing an american style? Ok. Pours a hazy copper brown with creamy tan head and good lacing. Aroma of hops, toasted malts, and light bready grain. Taste follows suit, like a light pale ale. Decent, interesting, worth a try.

Slightly hazy amber color, good creamy off-white head. Woody hoppyness and berryish aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Starts woody-nutty malty, finish has nice bitterness. Not a spectacular but clean and ok "session" beer in decent quantities.

Draft @ beer temple. Aroma has some citrussy hops, some banana and malt notes. Flavour is nice and fresh with a touch of that stephaner yeasty banana. Very nice.

Dark red-brown colored, medium sized white head. Flowery, bit yeasty aroma with thin lemon, some leathery-soapy note here as well. Medium bodied. Flavor is more dry with grass and flowers, fruits here as well. Aftertaste lasts with some soapy mouthfeel.

Draught @ Hilpeä Hauki. Pours a hazy orange amber with a thick, yellowish-brown head. Aroma is citrus and grapefruit. Taste begins strongly caramel, turns somewhat pithy and citrusy. Pith on the aftertaste. Palate is quite full and carbonated.

Tap (Black Door, Helsinki)
Slightly stale aroma. Fuller taste, sweetish malts. Nice hoppy bite. Lovely full finish, sweetish breadiness, and plenty of bitter hops, though not in any was aggressive. A better APA than many I’ve had from the US.

Draught @ Malja, Kuopio

Pours dark orange with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of floral hops, bready malts and hints of fruits. Taste is dry and malty with some floral and grassy German hops and hints of bread. Finishes a bit like a lager with hints of metallic bread and malty notes. A bit unbalanced and untypical pale ale.
