On tap at BeerDeLuxe. Interesting, long lasting taste. Aromas of caramel and nuts, with hints of citrus. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Orange, with a frothy head.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft @ beer temple. Aroma has some citrussy hops, some banana and malt notes. Flavour is nice and fresh with a touch of that stephaner yeasty banana. Very nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy dark amber with a fading head.
Plenty of malt in the aroma, big caramel and golden syrup overtones. Also some spicy and floral notes.
Flavours include some of the aforementioned malt and more floral and spicy notes. There’s also a faint metallic note unfortunately.
Carbonation could be a bit higher.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy orange colour, firm white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, light banana, light floral, some wheat. Somewhat reminding of a Kristalweizen, but more hop notes. Light sweet, light bitter flavour. Fruity finish, light banana.
Nice to see German brewers thinking out of the box. Would be interesting to see more of these kind of beers.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Hallertauer Bierfestival 2012. Cloudy orange, nice lacing offwhite head. Good citric and grassy hop aromatics, some hayish pu-err tea here as well. Green citric hops, covering a very slight DMS note, very nice hop aromatics though, shows what you can do with the most traditional types as well. Medium to light body. Very nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Draught at Black Door, 20120615) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts, white bread and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. Nice and clean pale ale but lacks some edges I would prefer.
