2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Tun Tavern in Atlantic City. Poured a medium and clear (see through) amber color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of light citrus and stronger flowers. Thinner body. Lightly bitter. Too 1 dimensional for my tastes.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2007 On tap at Tun. Clear copper color with a small white head that quickly dissipated.
Big, fruity, hop aroma with some citrus notes. Hop flavor was not as strong as the aroma would lead you to believe, but still stood out. Mild citrus flavor with just a touch of malt flavor coming through. Fairly dry finish. Might not be all that balanced, but was still quite enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours out a nice clear dark amber color. It has and aroma of hops right off the bat. From the menu rating of only 60 (or so ) IBU’s it is rather hoppy. Reminds me a lot of Hop Devil, almost could swear it was a clone on first sip.

1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma portends cascade hoppiness. Indeed this beer was hoppy, but it was plauged with a very strong soapy flavor throughout. At first I thought it must have been my glass, but everyone at my table agreed to one extent or another. The rest of the brews we tried were not afflicated with this. Looked and smelled good, tasted like crap.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
1/2 gallon growler. Crystal clear copper. Fastly reducing foamy light tan head. Zero carbonation. Resinous hop vine aroma, pine sap, mint, grapes and orange peels with hints of bubblegum sweetness. Mellow and full. Medium body. Chewy. Balanced right from the start with leanings towards the resinous hop flavors. Minty notes are obvious atop the juicy rind flavors. Mildly sweet. Hop flavors are more aromatic and flavorful than bitter. Finishes with a hint of jelly bean sweetness and a warming hit of alcohol. Nicely done.
