weezfour (79), Oradell, New Jersey, USA Jun 15, 2008 Great beer. Tried to find something to really complain about, because I didnt really want to like this beer (only because Tun Tavern is so damn far from me) but found that impossible. Drink this. Rastacouere (5202), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Crystal clear dark golden. Small off-white head quickly recedes to ring. Highly bready nose with grain husks flavours. A bit ricey, certainly focused on cerealic maltiness. Small, neglectable hoppiness. Timid carbonation. Light-medium bodied. Quite sticky on the palate. Like biting on rye bread, its holds an unexpected spiciness and manages to feel drier than it really is. Dogbrick (2166), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 10, 2007 Sample at the brew pub: Lightly hazed amber color with a minimal bone white head and nil lacing. Light malt and hops in the nose. Medium body with a citrusy hops flavor and a bit of malt. The flavor doesn’t seem to have a lot of legs though. The finish is mildly bitter and lingers a little. Pretty run of the mill overall. Jayb0 (685), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA Dec 29, 2006 I tried several beers here on my first visit and was pleased at how distinct each beer was. They try hard to be true to style and for the most part succeed. This bitter was far different than their APA, as it should be. Nice, dry, hoppy but countered well with malt. Medium bodied and drinkable. biznizness (670), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Nov 26, 2006 A nice pale ale, nice and Englishy, I guess. Definitely worth a try. I had a massive roast beef sandwich with these beer and that was pretty awesome itself.
