May 10, 2007 Sample at the brew pub: Pours a deep and clear amber color with a minimal off-white head and very little lacing. Light malt aroma with touches of hops. Medium body with an overall bitter character, along with hints of roasted malt. The finish is midly bitter with a rather flavorless aftertaste of hops. Barely average overall.

Mar 2, 2007 Draft at the Tavern - Solid amber. Probably the deepest red I have seen thus far. Almost no head by the time it reached the table. Light maltiness with a bit of toasiness. Enjoyable
