Rastacouere (5328), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Quite a sparkle feeds this clear and bright golden ale. Lasting, healthy white foam. Cerealic and rather crisp nose despite the kind of sloppy graininess and softest leafy aspects. The hops quickly die in mouth where it’s a bready and cerealic dominance accompanied by a most consistent tartness. The ensemble feels sweet and could certainly make good usage of more than its 8(seriously) IBUs. hopdog (4645), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 12, 2005 On tap at the Tun Tavern in Atlantic City. Poured a light golden color with a very small sized head. Subtle tastes and aromas. Some citrus and malts. Medium sweet. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 21, 2005 Tun Tavern Tun Light-on tap-pours a yellow-gold clear glass of beer. Flavor is a nice rolling malty taste. Good carbonation. Nice finish. Dogbrick (2260), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 10, 2007 Updated: Oct 11, 2007Sample at the brew pub: Clear bubbly gold color with a nil white head that is gone almost instantly. No lacing of which to speak. Lightly hopped aroma that is a little grassy. Light bubbly body with mild hops and malt flavor. Just a hint of citrus too. The finish is refreshing but ulitimately not very flavorful. There is a light hops aftertaste that doesn’t linger long. Par for the course with what one would expect in a Light beer in a brew pub attached to a hotel. hophead75 (1678), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Jul 4, 2006 Sampler. golden/straw color with a small off white head, medium to heavy carbonation, good for style. Aroma is some malt, perhaps a tiny bit of hops but not much going on. Taste is slightly grainy, light sweet malt, with a light hoppy and carbonated finish. Good conversion beer for the macro folks.
