2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Color is clear reddish brown. Little bit of head, abundant carbonation at first, but not lasting. Nose a thin lemon and peat. Slight hint of hops. Other flavors are weak; leather, lemon, tea, sassafras. Bit of iron in the finish. Watery feel. None too flavorful overall. You want this to be better; the brewer grows everything himself, but the final product is lacking.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Found this bottle at the Union Square Greenmarket. Malty caramel and cereal nose, aggressive pour resulted in a frothy two finger head that quickly dissolved in one minute.Color was a clear, dark amber. Watery taste with some roasty malt and a small amount of hop bitterness. Really wish the flavor was more intense. Palate had very low carbonation (probably due to the aggressive pour. I was really hoping for more flavor from this beer since the brewer grows his own ingredients.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle (sample at the farm market at Rockefeller Place): Poured a light amber color ale with small foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of light dry cereal notes with some light bitter hops. Taste is a mix between some dry unrefined grains with some light bitter hoppy notes. Body is about average with lightly low carbonation. Great initiative to grow all the ingredient by himself but beer is very average at the end of the day.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample at Union Square, NYC. Dark amber body with small head. Nose malty, and caramel. Taste of caramel, malts, spice. Enjoys this more than the pale ale. More of a kick.
