Bottle, thx to fonefan. It pours a slightly unclear, almost golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Sourish, citrusy and dusty aroma. Clearly something going bad, but it’s not offensive. At least not yet. The flavor is much the same, mostly on the citric side, quite thin in the mouth, and a bit astringent. Lemony finish. Surely off, but it is quite refreshing. (080822)

50 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and slight milky aroma. Fruity and milky citric flavour with a mild spice note and floral hops. Milky, citric and bitter floral finish. Again somewhat off, yet not unpleasant.

Cask, The Bull at Witherly (just up the road from the brewery). REALLY sulphurous aroma, with a dab of pigshit. Nothing else discernible. Agricultural fresh Burton pale ale with slightly more hop balls than Pedigree. Not especially citrussy or summery, but grassy and restrained. Tea, egg, biscuit. Not bad, but can’t touch the hoppier (cask) brews from Tunnel.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A pale orange beer with a bubbly beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of diacethyl and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of honey, leading to a dry sweet end with notes of pollen.

Cask (GBBF 2006): Shitty sulphuric nose. Citric, refreshing tasty but with a farty edge. Gold with a white head. Ok, but sulphur puts me off.
