Nelson's Column is an Old English Ale. Brimful of rich, ripe fruit. Starts slightly malty and finishes smooth and hoppy. "A truly monumental beer".

Copper brown with a small white head. Medium body, slightly soapy. I like the taste, with orange, malt, biscuit and cereal, and the nose is similar. Not particularly bitter.

Again, thanks Ogi! Poured a dark amber/copperish colour with an off white head. Slightly t/roasty, herbal aroma, vague chocolate, quite nice. Mild, malty taste, grainy and roasty, vs. light notes of fine orange-like/citric hops, giving a mild impression of jaffa cakes here and there. Quite nice actually.
