2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Fest ’12. Reddy copper with slight head. Really quite fruity, strawberry jam with greengage then a sourness that is at odds with the rest of the beer. Strange one.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Coventry Beer Festival.
Red copper coloured. Fruity malt aroma that is a little on the dull side. Really interesting in the mouth however. Very bready, lots of fruit, quite dry and an unexpected sweetish finish. An obvious Vienna feel mixed with English character. Unusual and quite enjoyable for being so.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Accidental half, Covfest ’08. Buttery, tawny, creamy, a bit vinous and berryish. Pronounced freshly crunched red apple and wood aroma. They’re not far off here, but it’s far too fruity to be authentically Germanic. But then it is ’Vienna-Style Lager’...

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask, Melton Fest 07. Hazy gold with no head. Aromas are sweet yet dry hay with soft, sweet citrus. Flavours are soft caramel malts with light lemon. Quite dry on the finish. OK.
