From bottle. Light toffee and oxidation notes. A bit of metallic character and bittering resin. Medium roast aroma. Deep amber clear with a bit of a haze, topped with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts with light acidity, medium roasted sweetness and toffee. Big hop flavors, though a bit dull. Herbal. Huge chalky bitter finish and residual bitterness on the tongue. I think this was a bit aged when I bought it, so I’ll have to rate it fresher if I can find it.

Pours amber. Aroma is earthy, grassy and hints of citrus. Taste is caramel sweetness. Light carbonation provides a oily mouthfeel.

Damn tasty brew. Pours and deep amber orange color with a white foam head. Arome of citrus, pine, and caramel. Sweet citrus taste with a big caramel backbone and a nice hop hit.

Very low hop aroma. A lot of hop bite keeps the smooth texture from being enjoyed. If you’re going to put that much hops in a beer that should be more left of it than the cheek puckering preservative aspect of hops.

Taste - HOPS! A little bitter overall and finish
Palate - medium body, lots of carbonation
Overall - A very hoppy APA, a little too bitter for my tastes but typical of the style

Draft. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is rich pine, citrus, biscuit, caramel. Flavor starts sweet with a nice hop finish. Nicely balanced.

pours an orange amber color, hint of haze with thin white head. Citrus spicy nose. Nice clean initial flavor, malt isn’t overwhelmed but hops still take over but not overtly so. It’s crisp and refreshing, not heavy or cloying. A nice compromise against some extremely heavily hopped IPAs. Yeah, this is very tasty.

Pours a pretty amber with a pillowy lasting head. The aroma has some bread and caramel with a bit of pine and citrus. The flavor is quite nice, similar to the aroma, nicely balanced with a sweet malt start and a hop kick. Smooth and refreshing.

Amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, pine. Flavor is heavy pine hops with some lemon and spicy notes. Bit of a caramel kick. Clean finish. Not to bitter. Nice beer.

Appearance: Pours out a hazed, amber-gold body with a tall, meringue-like, off-white head.
Smell: Spicy, grassy nose, primarily, with supporting notes of biscuit dough, humble barley grains, mineral water, distant caramel, and dried citrus peels.
Taste: Pale biscuit-toned maltiness with a lightly sweet touch of caramel. Grassy, spicy, and herbaceous hoppiness at first, much like a strong black English tea, followed by musty citrus accents (passes from grapefruit to orange and back again). Moderate bitterness. A bit minerally on the back half, with the suds helping to accentuate the bitterness a tad. Finishes bitter and quite dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation. The body is just a hair thin and the carbonation a hair too hair, working against the beer as a whole.
Drinkability: It’s been a long time, Tuppers. Nearly eight years by my count. A nice revisit, though I wasn’t taken with it then, nor am I now.
