Cloudy orange-tan pour, small white head, mild hoppy aroma. The flavor is blasting hops mixed with grapefruit ending with a mild carbonation bite. This one seems more like an IPA to me than an Ale. Very enjoyable.

Pours a pretty, almost clear copper color and a tan head. The aroma smells of fresh pine needles and grapefruit, as well as a hint of toasty malt. Light bodied with a nice bitterness in the finish. There is a hop zing throughout that you feel on your tongue. Not as hoppy as I was perhaps expecting, but it does have a nice level of hops. It has a faint pine flavor from the hops, but the main hop contribution is the zippy bitterness. The toasty malt notes from the aroma are continued in the taste. There are also some dry austere caramel notes as well. This beer actually becomes more and more malty as I work my way through it, quite interesting. This beer is easily quaffable, and would make for an excellent session beer.

Nice hoppy aroma, hinting at good things. Too little body though to back up the lovely hops. Pretty good though.

Thanks to DocLock for hooking me up with this beer. This pours an ambery color with a slight white head which dissipated quickly but left a lot of lacing on my glass throughout. The aroma is malty with caramel, apples, citrus and pears to balance it out. The flavor is hoppy but surprisingly well balanced given the malt used in this beer. The finish is dry and bitter..in fact just a little too bitter for my liking and the only reason it isnt ranked higher. Nice mouthfeel, sort of refreshing, but damn that overwhelming sticky bitterness.

I had no expectations on this beer and was plesantly suprised. The appearance was good with a dark golden/ orange body. The head was a bit thin. This negative was more than ofset by a huge and wonderful floral, citrus hop aroma. In tasting the beer the hopps shine through with a great bitter finish. The malt backbone was substantial as well and in my opinion made it a very good beer. Nice effort.

Excellent. Nice golden amber with a foamy white head. Aroma is citrus and sweet and flowery. Smooth and creamy and nicely carbonated. Flavor was refreshingly citrusy. Great drink.

Short lived off white head, light amber body. Very earthy & woody hop; bready, toasty malt; light caramel. Either way dominated by hops! Dry & well balanced. sort of English hops, lightly toasty, hints of fruitiness. Aftertaste is hoppy & lightly malt flavored. M/f is lighter medium bodied, higher carbonation, and dry. I seem to like the Pils over the ale. Only because the pils seems more complex, believe it or not, than the ale.

This is strong, but it’s surprisingly smooth. Citrus (?) and bitter notes abound. The aftertaste is a bit more mealy than the actual flavor.
