Dec 10, 2003 Pale bronze color with a creamy head. The aroma is bountiful with sharp cascade hops, not subtle. The flavor is balanced well and are full of hops too, maltyness flavors spike through the finish. It is not too dry on the palate, and almost astringent. This was a good APA!

Dec 8, 2003 Crystal clear orange-brown color with a nice faomy white head. Good citrusy hop aroma. Well balanced flavors. Piney and citrusy hops with malts to back them up. Good IPA. Thanks Jeremy.

Dec 1, 2003 Bottle: Pours orange with a thick off white head. Wonderfully hoppy aroma. Big hop flavor with a bitter finish. Very nice.

Nov 29, 2003 On tap. WOW, what a hoppy brew. I can't believe this isn't an IPA. Very fruity aroma and flavor. You have to be in the mood for something really bold, but it's an excellent beer.

Oct 31, 2003 Spicy, citric, resinous hop aroma, with an unusual addition that is somewhat reminiscent of sassafras(?), notes of orange, toasty, caramel maltiness, and the faintest hints of something like dry leaves and old wood. Medium golden-amber color, with a lasting, fine, creamy head and delicate lacing. A goodly amount of, spicy, floral and lightly citric hoppiness up front, becoming sweeter, almost sugary, then draws to a fresh, juicy, bitter grapefruit hop close. Light-moderate acidity, with a smooth, lightly creamy palate and medium body. Certainly one of your finer American Pale Ales. Cheers, Kinz.
