An amber beer with no head. The aroma is very light with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with quite a lot of caramel, but also a good hop presence.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Amber golden with tiny, floating impurities and a huge, rough, shaving foam style, lacing head. Lightly sweet caramel aroma with some fat citrus hops. Medium body with sweet caramel flavour and a distinct, hoppy finish. 171107

Hoppy enough, but I need more. Old Dominion has another contract brew, New River Pale Ale, which I feel delivers on the promises made by Tupper’s great press.

Cloudy amber color; big frothy head. Hoppy aroma, a bit grassy and earthy, nice. Medium body structure, some good grainy malt flavor, with a good hopping, bringing some nice hop oils. Very good.

Draught at the Old Dominion pub in Dulles Intl Airport, Washington DC, 2007-10-07, 6-4-7-5-15=37
Hazy amber color. Some malt and hop aroma. Good body strength, very good caramel and toffee flavor, with a quality and powerful hopping; the hop is resiny and partially fruity, it leads to a very strong and long final. Very good Pale Ale.

(retasted 5/30/03): Tried it again last weekend, and my opinion remains the same -- this is a damned impressive beer. Floral and citrus hops are well balanced by the moderate sweetness. Medium body. This beer is incredibly drinkable.

Bottle. A dirty amber beer with lots of small floaties in it and a huge tan head, not bad looking, but just dirty looking. The aroma and taste is of caramel malt, fruits, peach and hops. Medium body with a light sweet dry finish.
