4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: a color that surprised me for a hoppy ale, clear, and pale gold, with a nicely retained off-white head.
Aroma: abuzz with hoppiness, piney, citrusy, fruity (grapefruit meets tangerine, I’m thinking. I like it, it’s good! Fresh, and vibrant!
Hops continue as we take our first sip, and they are tangy, tasty, blistering with hops, but how enjoyabale is it? The lack of more maltiness to conteract the full-on hop attack is a significant drawback, though not one that troubles me a great deal. I love the stuff, though I surely wouldn’t enjoy too many in a row.
Finish is nice and long, predominantly hoppy, and actually that’s the foremost characteristic of this brew. Body is a bit too light, for the hoppiness, and texture is, again, dominated by the mannerisms of the hops in the brew. And that’s a good thing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy dark gold with a MASSIVE head after gushing and losing close to half the bottle. Aromas are citrus hops, then some cheese like notes and a big dose of soap. Flavors citrus, then smooth caramel, cardboard, soap over a foundation that is equal parts grass and pepper. The palate is very carbonated and almost gives the feeling of heat as the carbonation hits the tongue and agitates; it falls for the massive loss of beer due to gushing and the huge head. Overall, this is still a pretty solid beer, if I didn’t have the gushing and strange pepper and heat notes this would be stellar.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is amber and hazy like honey. Large tight bubble head that is off white to cream in color. Aroma is lite but very hop forward. When you take a drink the first thing you will note is the texture witch is very dry and fizzy/carbonated then you get hit with hops and they stay on the palate like pepper. I love hops but if you do not this is the wrong beer for you.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber/brown in color with thin, quickly dissipating, white head. Aroma is caramel and slightly resinous hops. Tastes is malty, sweet caramel and mild pine up front, slightly bitter on the back end. Overall, its a decent beer, but nothing worth going out of your way for.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Cloudy brown with a big billowy white head; sheets of lace. Nose is lemon custard, grain and mild orange peel. Medium body with a buzz, gets creamy as it warms. Taste is lemon-lime, banana, earthy-metallic bitterness, dry citrus pith and toast. More robust than it would seem initially with a refreshing rustic quality.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a two finger white head that has good retention. Big aroma of strong floral and citrus hops. The flavor starts off with some nice floral hoppy bitterness that lasts throught. The hops assert themselves with some nice citrus qualities while letting the smooth and creamy malt flavors creep in, in the middle. The finish is dry with a floral, clean hop flavor. Medium body and light carbonation.
